Following in the great tradition of hard-rocking melodic punk trios like Jawbreaker and pre-Warner Goo Goo Dolls, Husker Dü and Green Day, comes Dallas’s Slowride. Their debut album contains all the essential elements required of a great power-pop trio: punchy, high energy, intensely hook-filled melodies and incisive, lovelorn lyrics and complementary vocal harmonies.
