Slowthai once proclaimed that there was "nothing great about Britain," but he's now teamed with two of the U.K.'s best for a new single. You can hear "feel away," featuring James Blake and Mount Kimbie, alongside an accompanying video below.
Written in Los Angeles with Blake and produced by Mount Kimbie's Dom Maker at the top of the year, "feel away" follows previously shared singles "MAGIC," "ENEM," and "BB (BODYBAG)." Yesterday, slowthai announced that "feel away" would be dedicating the song to his late baby brother.
Of the song, slowthai explained in a statement that it's "about the doubts we have whether it be within friendships, your partner or with our family. It's about putting yourself in the other person's shoes so you have a better understanding of the situation."
Last year, slowthai made his debut with Nothing Great About Britain, which Exclaim! named one of the 10 Best Hip-Hop Albums of 2019. The album was nominated for the 2019 Mercury Prize.
