This is lame punk posturing of the worst variety; its music made with little knowledge and absolutely no regard for anything done before, say, 1997. With a mid-paced tempo, distorted guitars and elegantly messy hair, Social Code attempt to bury their absolute lack of any original ideas behind a wall of over-production, making sure that the vocals are just raspy enough to appeal to the mall-punk kids who arent old enough to know any better. The lyrics are dull and one-dimensional, with such groundbreaking topics as rejection ("Forever Always Ends), heartache ("Frayed) and the testosterone-ridden, sexual, almost demeaning tone of "10 Seconds To Go offering no actual insight to anything, lacking any depth or imagination. This is an utterly unoriginal record with absolutely no artistic merit that deserves to be quickly forgotten.
