After reissuing their originally self-released debut EP Generic Dogs back in April, '90s-inspired Montreal indie duo Solids are back with a seven-inch single, which is available to stream on Exclaim.ca.
The release features two new songs, "Fog Friends" and "Blown Out," and was recorded by Jace Lasek (Besnard Lakes, Stars, Land of Talk). And trust us: if you're eager for some anthemic, ridiculously hooky modern rock, this is going to hit that sweet spot, big time.
The band, composed of Xavier Germain and Louis Guillemette, are currently working on their first full-length record and should be announcing Canadian tour dates in the near future.
For now, check out "Fog Friends" and "Blown Out" below. The self-titled seven-inch is out this fall on Machette Records.
