Not counting what is the probably the most dull "behind the scenes" special ever committed to tape, this release is one which, in spite of being a little early for a band with only two full-length albums, captures a group who are truly attempting to do something unique in the pop-punk genre. With as great a focus on piano parts as guitar riffs, Something Corporate can occasionally sound like an adult-contemporary version of Blink-182; but when they're on, they really are on, as demonstrated by songs like "I Woke Up In A Car" and "Space." An even mix of old and new material, this particular performance also contains the band's epic "Konstantine," a fan-favourite nine-minute piano ballad. How many pop punk bands can say that?
