Sonic Youth's <i>Daydream Nation</i> Chosen As the Landmark Indie Rock Album

Boston-based magazine The Phoenix has written a lengthy tribute to the the origins of indie rock, listing what it feels is the "ten landmark albums that made indie rock." But wait! Sure, we've heard it all before, but this list actually makes some sense. Sonic Youth's Daydream Nation takes the honours as number one - no real surprise there. Feel free to argue though, if it's that divisive.
