SonReal has yet to announce his new solo album, but the Canadian MC is helping tide us over with a new video for his single "Everywhere We Go."
As you'll see in the Peter Huang-directed clip below, SonReal plays some sort of Napoleon Dynamite-like nerdlinger, named Steven.
In a statement, SonReal explained: "I wanted to do a hip-hop video that would challenge and complement the song. Sometimes in hip-hop, artists shy away from doing something different because of trending videography styles and sounds. A lot of my videos are quite serious, it was an amazing experience shooting a video where me and my friends just got to clown the hell out."
SonReal's next LP is due out sometime in early 2014, but for now you can watch the video for "Everywhere We Go" below and pick up the track on iTunes here.
