Massachusetts indie rock crew Speedy Ortiz recently shared their Adult Swim single "Bigger Party," but the group are already back with another one-off in "Doomsday."
It's a slow-burner, to be sure, but the track certainly packs a punch with its enormous climax and wall of guitars. Add in its excellent melody, and it's clear that this is far from a throwaway track.
Check out "Doomsday" below. The song appears on a new 7-inch record from Famous Class. It's part of their LAMC series, which raises money for the Ariel Panero Memorial Fund. It's a split 7-inch with singer-songwriter Chris Weisman, and will arrive on October 7.
