Spirit Caravan

Spirit Caravan is one of those elusive bands in the upper echelon of heavy fuzz rock making viable and worthwhile music every time out. Lead by Scott 'Wino' Weinrich's firebrand guitar leads, the trio burns its way through 11 new tracks that simply rock. Wino handles lead vocals on most album tracks, but when bassist Dave Sherman does the duties on "Retroman," his style is so Lemmy-like you would swear you were listening to Motörhead instead. Those interested in this aspect of the band would be well advised to check out Sherman's side-project band Earthride, which is basically a Motörhead tribute although they do all originals.
