Days ahead of sharing new album Tsunami Sea, Spiritbox's Courtney LaPlante has shared her disappointment after a new single was reportedly released without the band's permission.

Leading up to the album's arrival Friday (March 7), the Exclaim! magazine cover stars have shared three singles from the LP: "Soft Spine," "Perfect Soul" and "No Loss, No Love." Today, to the surprise of Spiritbox, a fourth single titled "Crystal Roses" arrived on digital streaming platforms.

"I don't normally like to air out behind the scenes things like this, but we did not approve putting out another single today," LaPlante wrote on X. "None of us were aware this was happening. I am extremely disappointed and only found out about it late last night, by chance. Trying to take it down asap."

As of this writing, LaPlante's request has apparently been heard, with "Crystal Roses" unavailable to play on Spotify, Tidal and Apple Music.

Arriving Friday via Pale Chord / Rise Records, Tsunami Sea follows Spiritbox's 2021 debut Eternal Blue.
