STACEY's debut EP consisted of minimal piano ballads, but she sounds a lot more upbeat on her new collaborative project with Alissa Ricci of ON AN ON and John Mullane of In-Flight Safety. Their song "Then It Just Goes" can be heard now ahead of a collaborative collection next year.
The track is a sparkling electronic pop number with irrepressibly shimmying beats, arpeggiated synth twinkles and soaring, breathy hooks. It's credited to STACEY and Ricci, while Mullane is credited with production, engineering and mixing.
This song was recorded for the Red Brick Retreat. The resulting collection The Red Album will be out digitally in January.
