Ohio rapper Stalley has apparently been holding on to new tune "Raise Your Weapons" for the better part of the year, but has just let the single loose in advance of an impending, as-yet-untitled mixtape due on August 8.
Featuring head-twisting production work from the Block Beattaz, the song's dramatic build-up has Stalley delivering bars about speaking up for the unheard members of society, "the kids with broken hearts and torn souls." He ultimately calls for the people to rise up together against adversity, and you can hear his inspirational rally call down below.
Stalley said in a statement: "This song is inspired by my own personal push forward, how it now parallels with larger societal trends, and a desire to want more for the people of this country."
