The last time Stars toured Canada, the indie pop outfit let their fans pick the set lists while they built the hype for their latest album, The Five Ghosts. The record is now out in stores, and the group will be promoting the release with a more traditional cross-Canada tour this fall.
The seven-date leg will begin in Kingston, ON on October 20, taking the band westward to Vancouver. Prior to that, they will be touring through Europe and the U.S. This summer they will be playing the North American festival circuit, including dates in Ottawa, Calgary, Guelph, ON, and Montreal.
If you're in Toronto on July 24, you can also check out Stars' in-store performance and autograph signing at HMV on Queens Street West. While you're there, you can pick up a copy of The Five Ghosts. If you don't want to wait until then, you can buy it from Stars' official store. The album is also available in a fancy limited edition that contains six coloured seven-inch records and a digital EP, The Séance.
