Steve Adamyk Band Tour Ontario and Japan Ahead of New Full-Length

Ottawa's top power pop-leaning pop punk act Steve Adamyk Band continue to impress with an unmatched work ethic and a consistent catalogue of excellent songs. That will continue later this year, when they release another full-length album.

Details are scarce at this point, but the band recently travelled to Oakland, CA, to complete the recording. The band worked with Bare Wires/Warm Soda member Matthew Melton, who committed the LP to analogue tape at his Fuzz City Recording Studio.

The album will mark the band's fourth full-length overall, following 2013's Third. It doesn't have a title just yet, but expect it to arrive this summer courtesy of Dirtnap Records.

Until then, the band will keep busy with a string of tour dates. Along with some shows throughout Ontario, including a pair of dates at Ottawa's Babylon nightclub, they'll make a trek to Japan, where they'll play four shows this May.

This is just the first of many exciting 2014 plans from Steve Adamyk Band. Members of the group have also got new releases planned from projects like Mother's Children and Pregnancy Scares, among others.

Steve Adamyk Band also recently released the High Above EP on Latida Records.
