Though "Trust Me" has been floating around since last year, the Streets main man Mike Skinner decided to give new life to the soul-sampling cut via a brand new video. In it, the UK rapper hangs out in tube stations, city parks, car factories and poker parties while spitting in his trademark, laid-back, English-accented flow.
Whether he's riding an escalator or chomping on a cigar in between bites of some grimy English take-out, the clip finds Skinner waxing on Alice in Wonderland, Massive Attack's "Karma Coma," blogs and sipping some Bacardi.
Considering that his recently revamped website now features a counter for an unspecified event, can we assume the peppy jam is going to be the first single off an upcoming album?
