Sufjan Stevens spent the holiday season promoting his latest Christmas box set, Silver & Gold, and now the eclectic banjo-toter has unearthed a lost track called "Give a Little Love."
On Tumblr, Sufjan noted that he found this "abandoned" song on an old hard drive, and speculated that it might have been an outtake from 2010's All Delighted People EP. He added, "Break me off a piece of that Kit-Kat bar."
It begins with curiously auto-tuned vocals and keyboard plunks before moving into a soaring choral middle section that's vintage Sufjan. It then finishes with an outro of jazzy instrumental noodling.
