Suge Knight Reportedly Suffering from Deadly Blood Clot

The unpleasant drama surrounding hip-hop impresario Suge Knight continues. Not only does he face possible life in prison due to murder charges stemming from his recent hit-and-run arrest, but reports are now emerging to suggest the medical issues that led to to his recent hospitalization are more serious than were initially thought.

The rap mogul was hospitalized yesterday (February 3), just moments after he pled not guilty to murder, attempted murder, and two counts of hit and run. He experienced chest pains and was rushed to hospital, although it was reported that he had suffered a panic attack rather than heart issues.

Now, TMZ reports that the Death Row Records founder is actually suffering from a potentially fatal blood clot, similar to the one that almost killed him in a jail back in the fall. These clots are apparently the result of being shot six times last summer.

He has been moved to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, where he's on blood thinners. Apparently Knight is considered a flight risk, since he's been handcuffed to the bed and is under 'round-the-clock surveillance. Remember, his bail had initially been set at $2 million, but it was revoked.
