While A Sunny Day in Glasgow's new Sea When Absent album doesn't wash up into stores until June, the Philly dream-pop band are sailing another teaser track into our ear canals ahead of its release. This time around, we're treated to the big-time gauziness of "Bye Bye Big Ocean (The End)."
In comparison to previous preview "In Love with Useless (The Timeless Geometry in the Tradition of Passing)," this latest sneak peek is a little more chaotic, with sea siren-style vocals swimming in reverb, and a rhythmic pounding almost overcoming the hypnotic, oscillated whirl of faux-brass synth sounds and watery guitar solos.
You can hear the cut ahead of the album's June 24 street date through Lefse Records via the player down below.
The band have also just rolled out a U.S. tour, and you can see all those dates here.
