In addition to releasing Majesty Shredding last September, indie rock heroes Superchunk have been busy reissuing their back catalogue. They remastered No Pocky for Kitty and On the Mouth a year ago and dropped the out-of-print Here's Where the Strings Come In on vinyl back in April. Now, they're continuing the campaign with 1994's Foolish, which is due out via Merge on September 13.
The 12-song album has been newly remastered and will include "some different album art, special bonus material and extensive liner notes by drummer Jon Wurster," according to the press release.
The original album was produced by Brian Paulson (Wilco, Beck), and marked the first time that the band released an LP through their Merge Records label instead of Matador.
The reissue will be available in all the usual formats: CD, LP and digital download. Pre-order your copy here. As for the previous reissues, this one will be available in a specially priced bundle from the Merge store.
