Over the past year, '90s-loving indie rockers Surfer Blood have been touring non-stop in support of their debut album, Astro Coast, which came out back in January via Kanine. The band recently inked a deal with Warner Bros., but before they begin work on their next album, they will be releasing an EP through Kanine.
Although details are currently scarce, an Insound listing reveals that the EP is slated to be called I'm Not Ready and is scheduled to come out out on April 5.
If you have seen the band live in the past few months, the title "I'm Not Ready" will likely sound familiar, since the song has been a staple in recent sets. Check out a performance in the video embedded below.
The release date hasn't yet been confirmed by the band or the label, so we should probably take it with a grain of salt. Still, it's reassuring to know that we won't have to wait long before getting our next fix of Surfer Blood.
