Art rock provocateurs Swans are set to follow up 2012's enormous The Seer with a new album called To Be Kind. The first taste of that LP is called "A Little God in My Hands."
The seven-minute track kicks off with some rhythmic, mid-tempo rock that borders on funkiness. Naturally, the song ebbs and flows with layers upon layers of noisy synths, guitars, horns and Michael Gira's inimitable vocals. Eventually, St. Vincent's Annie Clark drops by to add some vocals of her own to the cacophony.
