Bit by bit, stoner rock outfit the Sword have been shaving off slices of their High Country LP for us to enjoy ahead of its August 21 release date via Razor & Tie. While it's fired-up and fuzz-fried, the latest sneak preview is called "Early Snow."
The track finds the Sword doing what they do best: unfurling '70s-era rock licks that conjure up Black Sabbath, and maybe the Edgar Winter Group. It's a silty fist-pumper that may be best enjoyed in a musty, shag carpet-lined basement with a bong and some buds.
