Taxi presents a mellow mix of female vocals, jazzy bass, drums and saxophones for this album. Standing right in the middle of the broken-beat/nu-jazz scene, this trio have made an enjoyable hybrid of jazz and electronics. Their songs are at the their best when they are at their mellowest, such as the minimal "Devil" and the melodic love song "Rely On Me." On the tracks with heavier drums, their beats don't bear the repetition they undergo. Overall, it's not a bad album, which fans of the Compost and Talking Loud labels would certainly enjoy.
