After revealing his family-made "Broad Shoulders" single with big brother Chancellor (a.k.a. Chance the Rapper) last month, Taylor Bennett has officially dropped off his debut full-length of the same name. You can hear Broad Shoulders in full now.
The album follows Bennett's Mainstream Music mixtape from 2014, and finds the 19-year-old working alongside executive producer Ludlow. No samples were used in the 10-song set, which begins with a wash of wavy, speaker-panning synths and bubble-popping on "Happy Place."
Elsewhere, Bennett offers up a mouthful of speedy rhymes above jazz piano-tinkling tunes like "Fall Back Fools," "H.Y.B.L." and "Cake."
In addition to the title track's guest appearance from Chance the Rapper, Broad Shoulders features assistance from King Louie, Donnie Trumpet, Joey Purp, Talia Stewart, Simone Bisous, Brill and more.
