Months removed from releasing her Shouting Matches EP, Taylor Janzen has now rolled out a new single.
Titled "What I Do...," the latest from the Winnipeg singer-songwriter can be heard below. The song was produced by Luke Niccoli and arrives through Arts & Crafts/Glassnote.
"'What I Do…' is a song I wrote about being in a serious relationship and suddenly realizing that your issues are affecting someone else for the first time, and not entirely knowing how to change that," Janzen explained in a statement.
She continued: "Musically, it's a bit of a departure for me. I wrote it on an acoustic guitar in my bedroom, but when we got around to producing it, it seemed to take on a life of it's own. In the end music is music and genre means nothing and I'm just happy this song is out."
In January, Janzen is set to support Half Moon Run on a North American tour.
