After postponing its outdoor programming yesterday (June 28) due to air pollution from forest fires in Northeastern Ontario and Quebec, TD Toronto Jazz Fest will go on as scheduled today.

"Thursday's Air Quality Health Index is forecasted as a low to moderate risk. Outdoor programming will continue as planned," the festival announced on Twitter.

Organizers added, "We are continuing to monitor the AQHI, but are not anticipating any additional disruptions to programming at this time."

This evening will see free-to-attend headlining performances from Tanika Charles and Lorraine Klassen on the fest's two stages, with more live music from Kyla Charter, So Long Seven, Corey Dawkins and the Altons.

Yesterday's (June 28) poor air quality also forced Noel Gallagher to cancel his scheduled show in Wisconsin.
