Toronto, ON rockers Teenage Kicks are gearing up to release their debut EP, Rational Anthems, on April 26. In anticipation of the release, the quartet have given Exclaim! a sneak peek via album track "Brooklyn Bridge," which can be downloaded below. As an extra bonus, we also have the track's new music video.

According to a press release, Teenage Kicks have an "unabashed love for classic rock bands like the Who and Creedence Clearwater Revival," which is no secret when listening to the straight-ahead, but impassioned, delivery of "Brooklyn Bridge." From gritty musicianship to Peter Van Helvoort's wrenching vocals, this is no-frills rock'n'roll at its finest.

As for the video, it takes a heavy tone, compiling vintage stock footage of war, all of it taken from public video archives. Showcasing explosions, missile launches and sinister handshakes, it's a fitting visual for the band's emotive rock'n'roll.

Teenage Kicks will celebrate the release of Rational Anthems with a show at Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern on April 29.
