As previously reported, electronic duo Teengirl Fantasy are delivering Tracer, "their most compositionally sophisticated work yet," August 21 through True Panther Sounds. The band previously previewed their new age soundscape "End," but take a supremely sensual detour for high-concept R&B piece "EFX."
The tune's biggest surprise is the vocal work care of L.A.-based singer Kelela, who commands our attention with a series of passionate outbursts and smoothed-out coos. Teengirl Fantasy, meanwhile, support the singer with a heady brew of intertwining percussion skitters and layers of anthemic, '80s teen movie synths.

Along with the new album, Teengirl Fantasy will be heading out on a North American tour, which includes a Vancouver stop on August 17.
