Tegan and Sara were due to perform at Toronto's Danforth Music Hall this week (November 1), but the show has been cancelled due to illness.
In a post on social media, the band confirmed that their Tuesday night show at the Danforth Music Hall has been called off, as Tegan Quin is sick. It's not COVID-19; rather, she has laryngitis and has been put on vocal rest by her doctor.
Evidently, she was struggling to sing during last night's concert in Washington, DC, since the band wrote, "Thank you to everyone in DC for helping us get through last night's concert."
The tour is set to resume the night following the axed Toronto show, on November 2, in Detroit. They're due to play Vancouver on November 20. There's no indication that the show will be rescheduled, since the band's post simply says it has been "cancelled."
Tegan and Sara just released their album Crybaby. To mark the occasion, Tegan ranked the band's five best songs.
