Ahead of the debut of their new '90s-themed, Clea DuVall-produced High School series based on the memoir of the same name, Tegan and Sara have shared a cover of a song by the very '90s-centric Smashing Pumpkins. The Siamese Dream classic "Today" appears in a trailer for the series, and you can hear an official version now.

The duo shared of their SP fandom in an Instagram post: "We slept in the Marlborough Mall parking lot for tickets to their Melon Collie and the Infinite Sadness tour in 1996 and that's probably all we need to say for Calgarians to know that we were DIE HARD fans! Needless to say, we were STOKED AF to cover 'Today.'"

After having its premiere at TIFF this weekend, the twins' new show will land on Prime Video on October 28, after the US and the UK get a head start on the series on October 14 via Amazon Freevee.

Similarly, the duo's Amazon Originals cover is available to stream via Amazon Music today. Listen to the cover, see snaps of Sara Quin's Siamese Dream-themed childhood bedroom and revisit the trailer for High School below — and be sure to check out the other entries on Exclaim!'s list of 13 TIFF must-sees.
