Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, Swift Current, SK's Long Day's Night Music Festival returns to commemorate the summer solstice with the expanses of great music under sprawling prairie skies from June 20 to 22.
Terra Lightfoot will be leading this year's festivities, on the back of last year's release of Healing Power — a Great Canadian Album You Might Have Missed in 2023. The event will also see performances from the Commoners, the Radiant, Dirty Catfish Brass Band, Lyssa and the Try-Tones, and RIBRASH.
The fest will also feature libations from Swift Current's Black Bridge Brewery, Great Western and Lucky Bastard, as well as treats from a variety of food vendors. There's also a free SGI shuttle to get you home safe afterward, running approximately every half hour from 10:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Tickets are on sale now for the individual shows, and three-day festival passes are also available. For more information, visit the Long Day's Night website.
