The Tragically Hip announced back in March that they were releasing an official anthology called This Is Our Life, which guitarist Rob Baker called the "definitive chronicle" of the band's career. The coffee table book is due for release on October 1, and a month later, the Hip are hosting an event discussing it at Toronto's Massey Hall.
Hosted by TV personality, singer and actor Tara Slone, This Is Our Life – In Conversation with the Tragically Hip will take place at the historic venue at 9:30 p.m. on November 1. Tickets are on sale now, with a copy of the book included in the price of admission.
It's been a big year for reflecting on the band's everlasting legacy in the Canadian music pantheon, with the TIFF premiere of Mike Downie's No Dress Rehearsal documentary being followed by its streaming release on Prime Video. Check out Exclaim!'s interview with Downie about the project here.
