The Headstones reunited back in 2011 and have released three albums since, but their next release will be revisiting an old classic. Their 1993 album Picture of Health will be treated to a reissue that's due out on October 26 via Cadence Recordings. What's more, they will be celebrating the re-release with a Canadian tour.
For the reissue, the package will include a remastered version of the 13-track album, plus four bonus tracks (demos of "Sweet Pea," "When Something Stands for Nothing" and "Cemetery," as well as a re-recorded version of "Skin Me Alive").
The band will also be unveiling rare footage and photos from the era on social media in the weeks leading up to the reissue's release. See a clip of the band performing "Judy" at MuchMusic below.
Following the Picture of Health reissue, the Headstones will embark on a Canadian tour, where they will play the 1993 album front-to-back, as well as other hits. The Matchstick Skeletons will serve as the opening act throughout the tour, and you can see the full list of dates below.
