Microphones mastermind Phil Elverum has announced a "humungous" limited-edition box set titled completely everything, 1996 – 2021.
The previously teased career-spanning set, which is available for pre-order now, contains seven albums on 10LPs, as well as 74 gigabytes of downloadable content including "all albums, live and unreleased stuff, and STEMS for almost everything," plus a 107-page book of pictures, art scraps and notes.
Albums included in the set are EARLY TAPES, Don't Wake Me Up, It Was Hot, We Stayed in the Water, the Glow pt. 2, Song Islands, Mount Eerie and Microphones in 2020.
"This is final. To commemorate and tombstone 25 years of this intermittently-awake recording project, we made this chunk. It's a 10 pounder, lift with your legs," warns a description.
The collection begins shipping in February and will run you a cool $250 USD. Check out what's inside in the preview below to see if the price tag is worth it. Keep in mind, this is a limited-edition box set and it will not be re-pressed.
