After performing in a number of bands, Thomas D'Arcy (Small Sins, The Carnations) has finally released his first solo album under his own name. The album, titled What We Want, was just released today (February 5), and despite his busy schedule, we at Exclaim! were lucky enough to catch up with him in studio for this week's episode of Exclaim! TV.
Accompanied by a full band, D'Arcy performs "The Price You Pay," showing off the dramatic, slow-building songwriting style he is known for.
The album is available through Thomas D'Arcy Music/MapleMusic Recordings, and though no tour dates have been schedued yet, he will be celebrating the album release this Saturday (February 9) at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto, ON.
Check out Thomas D'Arcy and company performing "The Price You Pay" live on Exclaim! TV.
