Throwdown

You may not like the bone-crushing sound of Orange County's Throwdown, but you have to give them points for their dedication to their scene. As one of the most appreciated straight-edge hardcore bands around today, Throwdown's lyrics on Haymaker express a desire for unity, brotherhood and some crazy pile-ons. "Slip” is a palm-muted fantasy with intense lyrics about friendship, while "Hopeless” is a melody-driven, guitar-based anthem. Throwdown is about positivity, family and living drug-free. If none of these interest you then maybe the list of guest vocalists will; both Scott from Terror and Chad from A New Found Glory make appearances on Haymaker. Always a crowd pleaser, Throwdown stick to what they do best on this release.
