Thursday Are Turning Their Unsold Merch Into Hospital Masks

Of the many strange subtexts related to the coronavirus pandemic, one notable aspect has been the importance of band merch. When the self-isolation first started, many artists urged their fans to support them via merch sales in lieu of cancelled concerts. Now, unsold merch is playing an equally important role thanks to an initiative from long-running post-hardcore outfit Thursday.

The band announced that they are starting the process of converting their old, unsold merch stock into health masks for first responders. While details are scarce, they confirmed the plan in a tweet earlier today:
