T.I. Talks Would-Be Jumper out of Suicide

T.I. has had his fair amount of trouble with the law, recently getting busted with drugs in his car and facing possible jail time after reportedly failing a drug test. The troubled rapper has now won himself some serious karma points, however, as today (October 13) he talked a suicidal jumper down off of a ledge.

The southern rap star reportedly heard about the jumper on the Ryan Cameron radio show on V103, which airs from the same building where the man was threatening to jump from the roof in Atlanta. Cameron told TMZ that T.I. called in to the program and asked what he could do to help.

The rapper ended up coming to the building in person, meeting with the cops and recording a video message for the man. Apparently, this was enough to convince the would-be jumper to get down off the roof, as he came to meet T.I. in person in the lobby of the building.

According to TMZ sources, T.I. said in his message, "Nothing is that bad. Nothing in life is worth taking your life. I'm here to help you. Please come down to talk to me."

T.I. has not commented on the situation, but Cameron says that the police won't be pressing charges on the jumper.
