Earlier this year, Tiffany Haddish sent the internet into a frenzy when the actress revealed that she witnessed someone bite Beyoncé at a party last December. Now, Haddish has revealed exactly who was responsible for the act.
Haddish confirmed that suspected culprit Sanaa Lathan was indeed guilty of biting Bey.
"I'm super good friends with her stepmom and her dad," Haddish told The Hollywood Reporter. "And they were mad at me. They were like, 'Why would you do this to the family? You know, black actresses, you guys have to stick together, it's so hard for you guys to get work as it is, why would you try to ruin her career?' But I didn't try to ruin her career. I never said her name! I was just trying to say how Beyoncé kept me from goin' to jail that night. I coulda just shut my whole career down."
In the initial GQ interview, Haddish did not identify Lathan by name. She merely described the biter as an actress who was "just, like, doing the mostest."
Haddish now admits that since divulging the story of the bite, she's been invited to "way more" parties (despite being warned that people wouldn't want her at them after speaking to the press).
As previously reported, the #WhoBitBeyoncé incident took place at the release party for JAY-Z's 4:44, and after witnessing it, Haddish offered to "beat somebody ass at your party."
Beyoncé reportedly responded by telling Haddish to let it go and "have fun."
After another offer to beat ass, Beyoncé replied: "Tiffany, no. Don't do that. That bitch is on drugs. She not even drunk. The bitch is on drugs. She not like that all the time. Just chill.'"
