Too Pure To Die

Confidence and Consequence

BY Andrea DyerPublished Jan 26, 2008

The realms of hardcore are always expanding to include other genres, but there are a handful of bands around who seem to purposely sidestep those expeditions to stick to what’s tried and true. Too Pure to Die happen to be one of them. Their latest album, Confidence and Consequence, doesn’t explore much complexity but then again, I doubt it needs to, what with the breakdowns, beats and string work every hardcore fan lusts for from time to time. Although it’s not necessarily the band’s most progressive or notable work yet, it is very TPTD: laced with morals, pride and straight from the heart passion.
