Sometime spacey, sometimes sludgy Floridian metal unit Torche inked up with Volcom Entertainment last fall with plans to release an LP in 2012, and the group have now revealed that the record drops this spring. Titled Harmonicraft, it arrives April 24. That's its cute yet nightmarish pastel cover art up above.
A tracklisting has yet to be delivered, but the LP is said to feature 13 new tunes. As previously reported, the record was self-produced in the group's own Pinecrust Studio in Miami and was mixed by Converge's Kurt Ballou. You can stream poppy but pounding new cut "Kicking" in the widget below. You can also download the track for the price of an email.
Though technically the group's last release was their split with UK rock unit Part Chimp, this will be Torche's first one-band-outing since 2010's Exclaim!-approved Songs for Singles EP.
