As the US enters into a needless trade war with Canada, Toronto vinyl plant Precision Record Pressing has announced that it will be absorbing the 25 percent tariff for American customers.

A message from CEO Shawn Johnson assures US customers that Precision will absorb all tariffs imposed by the US government on Canadian goods. Johnson wrote, "This means you will not see any additional charges, price increases, or hidden fees as a result of these policies. Our priority is to continue providing high-quality vinyl records and packaging solutions without disruption or added financial burden."

The announcement was met with mixed reactions on Instagram. While some commenters celebrated the news, the top-voted comment reads, "But the American clients SHOULD be paying the tariffs. Not the Canadian company. I understand the desire to not lose business but this is disappointing from a Canadian company and makes me question if I want to use Precision Pressing again in the future." The comment was hashtagged #elbowsup, echoing Mike Myers's recent protest on SNL.

Others complained that Canadian customers weren't getting any benefit. See the post below.
