Following a long absence that has led to the formation of Quest for Fire and Andre Ethier's successful solo career, Toronto garage rock greats the Deadly Snakes have announced they'll be reforming for at least one show. However, the show won't be in Canada but at the Scion Garage Fest in Portland, OR.
Still, if you're thinking of making the trek, it might be worth your time. Besides the Snakes, the night will include performances from some pretty huge names, including Jay Reatard, Black Lips, King Khan & BBQ Show, the Spits, Strange Boys and many more.
Better yet is the fact that the festival is free. All you have to do is RSVP at this link before September 30 and it's all good. The Scion Garage Fest is taking place on October 17 at various venues in Portland.
As for any new Deadly Snakes material, well, no sign of anything yet but we can hope, can't we?
