Toronto's Harbourfront Centre will play host to a new virtual livestream concert series kicking off next week. Titled "Summer Music in the Garden at Home," the event would have normally taken place outdoors at the centre but will now happen online.
Performers in the series include Ton Beau String Quartet, Bor Zuljan, Flûte Alors, Ramneek Singh, Mélisande Corriveau, Elinor Frey & Andrew Stewart, and the Venuti String Quartet.
"Our virtual concert offerings are a way of bringing the joy, spirit and community of 'Summer Music in the Garden' directly to our audience's homes during a time when we are unable to gather in person," said artistic director Tamara Bernstein in a statement. "I hope that people who discover us through these online performances will join us in person when we can once again present our free concert series in our magnificent home at the Toronto Music Garden."
The program kicks off on July 5 at 4 p.m. ET. and runs until July 23 with a performance at 7 p.m. ET. The full schedule can be found over at Harbourfront Centre's website.
