Toronto director/photographer/model Petra Collins has signed on to a very Canadian new film project alongside Drake and Selena Gomez.
Deadline reports Collins' directorial project — titled Spiral — will be produced by Matthew Budman and Sumaiya Kaveh of Forest Hill Entertainment, alongside Drake, who will executive produce with Euphoria's Future the Prince.
Gomez is attached to star in the forthcoming film, which has been cosigned by Picturestart.
The psychological-thriller "follows a former social media influencer whose addiction to social media is causing her body to literally fall apart," according to Deadline's report.
It's still early days for Spiral, so few other details have emerged concerning its release and secondary cast members.
Collins' previous film work includes her 2015 documentary series Making Space, as well as numerous music videos for the likes of Lil Yachty, Carly Rae Jepsen and Cardi B.
Spiral will mark the OCAD alumna's first feature-length project.
