Toronto psychedelic-pop singer-songwriter STACEY has shared a new single titled "One Woman" — the third from her forthcoming debut album Saturn Return. Co-written and produced by Brandon Wolfe in 2019, the new song can be heard below ahead of the record's release.
"'One Woman' grapples with the inevitable feelings of hopelessness and futility that come with wanting to change the world, while simultaneously existing under the weight of it," STACEY explained of the track in a statement. "It is the impossibility of standing at the bottom of a mountain of sorrows and you alone are not enough to move it. A snapshot of feeling small."
She added: "With every horror 2020 brings us, I wonder if I am unknowingly psychic."
Saturn Return is due for release in early 2021.
Previously, STACEY shared "Far Away" and "D.M.T." from the record, the latter of which arrived with a music video directed by Sara Serna.
