Following the release of their long-anticipated sixth album Beacons of Ancestorship, Chicago post-rock vets Tortoise have announced a North American tour. The album, which came out in August of 2009, was followed with a large tour. This time around, the band will be hitting up some of the cities they missed the first time around.
The nine-day tour kicks off in Louisville, KY on February 11. Along with stops all over the United States, the band will also pop up in Canada for a show in Toronto on February 18. Experimental rockers Disappears will open on all dates but one.
