After dropping back-to-back mixtapes The New Toronto 2 and Chixtape 4 earlier this year, Tory Lanez secured himself a spot on an upcoming summer trek with Future and Migos. Ahead of the "Nobody Safe Tour," though, the Brampton-born rapper has run into some legal trouble south of the border.
As XXL reports, Lanez was arrested on drug and gun charges yesterday (April 12) in Florida's Broward County. He was charged with carrying a concealed firearm (a third degree felony) and possession of less than 20 grams of cannabis (a first degree misdemeanour), as well as failure to register a motor vehicle, driving without a valid license and failure to provide proof of insurance.
Miramar police have confirmed the charges via Twitter. See those below.
Lanez has yet to comment on the arrest.
