Once again, Tory Lanez is making headlines for all the wrong reasons. Following his high-profile felony case involving Megan Thee Stallion, the Canadian artist is now facing new assault charges.
Love & Hip Hop: Miami star Prince — a.k.a Christopher Michael Harty — is accusing Lanez of assaulting him at a Miami club on May 3, TMZ reports.
According to a police report filed by Harty, the rapper/promoter was at his table at around 4 a.m. local time at the South Beach club Vendome when he was approached and punched on the left side of his face. He claims it was Lanez who hit him before then fleeing the scene in a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van.
Harty went to hospital due to his injuries, and TMZ has posted a series of photos showing him with a visibly swollen face.
In the police report, Lanez was named as the suspect for alleged battery.
Speaking to TMZ, a rep for Lanez has denied the allegations, stating that Harty is "obsessed" with Lanez. The rep also stated there are no witnesses to the alleged incident to back up Harty's claim.
If this all sounds familiar, it is — Harty is already suing Lanez over a similar incident in 2019 at LIV Miami. Harty is now reportedly considering filing yet another lawsuit against Lanez over this latest dust-up.
