California hardcore quintet Touché Amoré have been out on the road fairly consistently since issuing their Is Survived By, but in case you missed them on any of their recent concert tours, you can now get an idea of what they're like in-the-flesh with a new live-off-the-floor EP. Recorded out in a London radio station, their Live on BBC Radio 1, Vol. 2 drops September 30 via Deathwish Inc.
As that name implies, this is the second instalment of the live series, with the first having arrived in 2012. A press release explains that the group were asked to come back by Beeb radio host Mike Davies, with Touché Amoré once again being captured by engineer Simon Askew (Pulp, PJ Harvey, Foo Fighters) and assistant Phil Deacon.
Highlighting Is Survived By, the record features run-throughs of the record's "Just Exist," "Harbor" and "Non Fiction," as well as the act's "Gravity, Metaphorically" off their split 7-inch with Pianos Become the Teeth. Live on BBC Radio 1, Vol. 2 is being delivered on 7-inch and digitally.
Also coming up for the band is a repress of their old Record Store Day split with Title Fight. Though released in the spring of 2013 via Sealegs, the new edition also drops September 30 through Secret Voice.
